 (Angelica archangelica)
Angelica medical research

The angelica plant grows up to 5 feet tall, with a purplish or greenish
stem, large leaves, and greenish-whiter flowers.  It belongs to the
parsley family, looking similar to celery.  Both the root and seed are
used to produce essential oils using steam distillation. The roots are
poisonous while fresh.  Angelica archangelica should not be
confused with Angelica sinensis, also known as Dong Quai. They
are different plants with different healing properties.
